I have wanted to make marble magnets for several years now, and I finally did it! It takes NO time to make them. I ordered some of the rare earth magnets that are small, but I used the 3/4 inch magnets I found at Wal-Mart today. They worked just fine. I think I could get 100 magnets out of one piece of scrapbook paper if I wanted to. I just had to find paper with a small pattern. I knew there was a reason I held on to my paper scraps! I can't wait to make more! Here is a link to the tutorial I found:

Cinnamon Applesauce Ornaments
I remember making these at Sunday School as a kid, and I have wanted to make them again for a long time. I think my kids would really get into it, and the ingredient list is short. There are many recipes for this online, and I haven't decided if I'm going to just do the 50/50 combo of applesauce and cinnamon or add glue to the mix. I think I'll experiment this weekend! Here is the link to the site where I found these things. http://www.astorybooklife.com/recipes/cinnamon-applesauce-ornaments/

Stocking Stuffer - Candy Coin Rolls
What a cute stocking stuffer! My son collects state quarters, and I wanted to put a roll of them in his stocking this year. What a cute way to dress it up! I found these on the Martha website, and I'm going to make some ASAP! I think I know how I'm going to use that stash of Christmas scrapbook paper I bought years ago!
